FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I work best with clients who want an ongoing relationship and guidance around areas like retirement planning, investments, protection planning, and strategies designed to help improve tax efficiency. Many of my clients are medical professionals, tech and biotech directors, and business owners, but I tailor planning to each individual.
I believe financial planning can provide value at many stages of life. Some clients come to me with complex portfolios, while others are focused on building strong financial habits and making smart decisions early. The most important factor is a willingness to engage thoughtfully in the planning process.
The initial consultation is complimentary. After that conversation, if you choose to move forward, we’ll clearly explain any costs associated with developing and maintaining your financial plan. We believe in full transparency, so you’ll always know how our services and fees work before making any decisions.
No, you would not be required to do a full financial plan. However, the planning process allows us to better understand your situation and helps guide future recommendations.
Your initial planning fee covers a one-year planning engagement beginning on the effective date of the service agreement. Each anniversary, you have the choice to renew or not. You are not required to renew.

No two clients have the same goals, priorities, risk tolerance, family dynamics, or career paths. I take time to understand what matters most to you before making recommendations. Advice should reflect your life and values, not a generic template.
The onboarding process typically requires more time and information gathering at the outset. To provide the best service we need to know you. After that, I want to be proactive and consistent. Typically we would meet either quarterly, semi-annually, or annually, depending on your needs and wants. However, if you wanted to reach out with questions or updates “off-schedule,” it is more than welcomed. Planning works best as an ongoing relationship.
Financial plans should evolve as your life changes. Major events such as career transitions, retirement, marriage, children, inheritance, or changes in tax laws can all warrant adjustments. I review plans regularly to help ensure recommendations remain aligned with your goals and circumstances.
